After COVID-19 Pandemic
1. Social and Cultural Changes Caused by the
COVID-19 Pandemic
In recent years, many social and cultural changes
in our everyday lives have happened by the outbreak
of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this article, we will
account for what some of those changes were.
First, there are changes in culture that occur in
private education. Internet lectures and educational
broadcasting users, who began to reduce anxiety
and victimization caused by the severe COVID-19,
tended to prefer online lectures to academies even
when COVID-19 died down. In addition, the physical
education-related academy business, which usually
proceeds in groups, has suffered a lot from the
COVID-19 pandemic. This business has improved as
the pandemic calms down, but it still needs to make more
progress due to poor awareness.
The second is the change in leisure life. In the case of
watching sports games, there were significant restrictions
on watching sports games at the stadium or arena during
the pandemic period. In the case of baseball stadiums, the
fans could occupy only 30%, 50%, or 70% of the seats in the
stadium. Eating food and cheering by shouting were strictly
limited. In addition, in movie theaters frequently visited by
many people, they had to wear masks even if alone due to
the COVID-19 pandemic. They also had to sit apart between
seats. With these inconveniences and ticket prices increasing,
people gradually avoid the theaters. Instead, people started
subscribing to OTT services such as Netflix. Nowadays, even
though the pandemic is nearly over, the number of people
going to theaters is not increasing again.
Last but not least, introducing kiosks in stores such as
restaurants and convenience stores changed our lives quickly.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, People usually made their
orders and payments in stores or casual restaurants face-to-
face, considered one of the leading causes of the spread of
COVID-19 virus infection. Thus, the kiosk, a touch-screen
computer system, emerged as an ordering panel. After many
stores have introduced kiosks, people order their products or
services without talking to clerks, and the risk of COVID-19
has decreased. However, many workers in restaurants or
stores lost their jobs because of this change. In addition,
some people claim that kiosk is not helpful for young children
or older adults because they have yet to learn much about
using kiosks.
In addition to these examples, the COVID-19 pandemic
caused many cultural and social changes. Some variants
of COVID-19 may cause another pandemic and make other
changes, and our future lives may never be the same.

2. Our School Life : Before and After COVID-19
Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many things in
our lives. There were changes we could feel quickly, but
there were also changes we could not. Nevertheless, the
pandemic has ended, and many things have returned to
ordinary life before the pandemic was declared. So is our
school life.
First, the number of school attendance is changed. When
COVID-19 was serious, there were several ways to attend
school classes, such as 'Online Classes' using Zoom or
EBS online classes. In addition, 'Partial Attendance' was
accepted by date or student grades. However, now most
schools oblige all students to attend classes at school.
