My Role Model

ELON MUSK MARY SEACOLE

I chose Mary Seacole as my role model because I want to
major in nursing. Mary Seacole was a nurse on the front line
during the Crimean War. She was a pioneering nurse and a
remarkable woman known for her significant contributions on
the battlefield. Seacole's dedication to nursing and ability to
overcome social barriers have made her a symbol of courage
and resilience in the face of adversity. However, she faced
rejection from all nursing groups, including the Nightingale
Nursing Corps, due to racism. She was an Afro-American.
Nevertheless, she took her own risk and worked on the
front line, caring for the soldiers who regarded her as
their mother. Later, she returned to Jamaica, where people
respected her as a 'Saint' for her care and treatment of the
people living in the slum. She was not lonely in her death,
surrounded by those she had helped and supported.
She is remembered as a pioneering nurse, humanitarian,
and a symbol of hope, breaking barriers and inspiring future
generations. I also want to become a dedicated nurse like
her, overcoming adversity and prejudice.

I chose Elon Musk as my role model. Elon Musk is a 30516 Lee, Jeongyeon
beacon of inspiration for countless aspiring entrepreneurs
worldwide. Remarkable entrepreneurial ventures, including
PayPal, SpaceX, and Tesla, marked Elon Musk's successful
journey. His ability to identify opportunities enabled him
to create companies that have redefined industries.
Despite his remarkable successes, Musk's path was
challenging. When he was young, Elon Musk experienced
a difficult childhood due to his unique personality, which
led to him being bullied by his peers. Nevertheless, he
was not depressed and said he learned much from the
difficulty. He encountered numerous challenges, including
financial setbacks, technical obstacles, and skepticism
from critics. However, he has been taking progressive
actions. For example, he launched rockets toward Mars,
which turned to failure. He embraces failures as learning
opportunities, analyzing setbacks to identify weaknesses
and areas for improvement.
I admire Elon Musk's passion and perseverance in life.
He never gave up on pursuing his dreams and eventually
became the CEO of a globally renowned company named
Tesla. He continues to innovate and always keeps pursuing
groundbreaking work. Now, He has become an icon of
innovation.
